Position Summary Drive complex commerce transformations by leading technical architecture while remaining hands-on in development. As a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation, you will help clients modernize commerce platforms, define scalable solution architectures, and deliver digital experiences that support business growth. This role combines full stack development, architecture leadership, and team guidance across the delivery lifecycle. Recruiting for this role ends on December 7, 2026 Work you'll do As a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation, you will be responsible for leading commerce technology engagements from discovery through implementation while helping clients modernize platforms and improve digital experiences. Lead the technical architecture for commerce engagements, including system design, integration patterns, and technology selection.Facilitate discovery sessions to gather technical requirements, assess current-state processes and platforms, and translate findings into solution architecture and delivery plans.Guide and mentor full stack developers through code reviews, engineering standards, and implementation best practices across front-end and back-end development.Design, build, and maintain full stack applications, application programming interfaces, and data integrations to support scalable commerce solutions.Drive quality, performance, security, and scalability across delivery, including testing approaches, continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, and issue resolution. We design and implement technology platforms for personalized marketing across all digital touchpoints, specializing in customer-centric B2B and B2C solutions. Our in-house agency engages customers throughout their journey, working on projects like AdTech, MarTech, campaign automation, CRM, and lead-to-loyalty orchestration. Qualifications Required: 5+ years of full stack development experience across front-end and back-end technologies.Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams of 10+ members and conducting code reviews for enterprise platform implementations.3+ large-scale platform modernization programs delivered for enterprise digital platforms.5+ years of experience implementing solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.3+ years of experience designing and optimizing relational and NoSQL database solutions and building Representational State Transfer (REST) or GraphQL application programming interfaces (APIs).Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Preferred: Experience owning technology roadmaps and making build-versus-buy or platform selection recommendations for enterprise commerce solutions.Experience using automated testing frameworks such as RestAssured, Karate, or Selenium to increase test coverage.Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HyperText Markup Language 5 (HTML5), and JavaScript.Experience with Agile software development methodology.Cloud or architecture certification.Experience with Kubernetes or Apache Kafka. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,700 – $218,300.
